Hello,
After the installation of Windows 8.1 on an Asus laptop. I used the email and the password that I'm using on Sony laptop.
Then I was asked to choose in Onedrive whether to sync my settings separately from Sony laptop or to keep it on,(it's Device Backups).
now, I need to sync settings separately, how can I....,?

I keep mine in different folders. As for you, you will need two different Live accounts, to keep the user Remote info separate.

It is easier just to use two different Live accounts, so that stuff does not get mixed up between them.
