Can't go on Neopets.com, err_network_access_denied

I can go on any website but Neopets. I enabled access on my firewall and put google chrome and internet explorer public and private but neither browser will open Neopets.com

I also have an anti-virus "kaspersky" on but when I disabled it, I still couldn't go on Neopets. I tried cmd to ipaddress release, renew, and flush. Still didn't work. I'm out of my own solutions to try and I need desperate help on this.

Does it work on another system? Sounds like a website issue to me.

Looks like you aren't the only one having trouble like this, as others have had similar issues. I just did a Google search on it.

Are you running a preinstalled version of Windows 8, or is this your own copy?

I ask because sometimes preinstalled systems may have software installed that may be blocking programs from going through the firewall. Antivirus programs don't normally block websites unless the program has its own firewall.

You may want to check to see what firewall you are using. Try disabling your firewall and antivirus temporarily. If that works, then its your firewall blocking access to that website

It worked for me on ATT U-Verse in Central IL.

it's a preinstalled windows 8 laptop. I have tried disabling both the firewall and anti virus. It didn't work either. It's weird though, the problem just started to happen, it was fine before.

Do you have a hosts file?

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

Yeah, I have it tested on my friends and family. It's just internal issue with the laptop I suppose but not sure on how to diagnose it further
