Win 8/McAFEE TOTAL security suite
Hello - set a Windows password and it's working (first time i've used one) . I have McAfee Total Security that offers firewall/a/v/, etc.;
-everytime i sign-in and launch Windows with my password there showing in the rite side of my lower task bar area white little 'flag' has a red-'x'... i click & it's showing Windows Defender & Windows Firewall not being 'on' but when i open Windows firewall from control panel it's showing that McAfee is protecting the firewall... and showing Windows firewall setting as 'off'; and with Defender it's just showing as ''off' ... at McAfee control panel area all are showing as ''on'' for it's program... ...then after a short period of time the red 'x' is gone from the white flag... is this all 'normal' and because i have the windows password working ? thanks so much (hope i haven't confused you) ...righht now the white flag (pc issues) is clear...(no problems)
