My brother hasWindows 7 and got an invite but when he tried to install Windows 10 he got this message.



"pc is running enterprised or volume version of windows 8.1 cannot be updated windows store
contract widows system administrator on how to update 8.1."

Can I please get an English translation????

He does not want to update to 8.1 he wants 10. Does he have to update 8.1 to get 10? Can I get a link for Windows 8.1 updates if he needs to update his 8.1? He says he can't find his windows update on his computer. I had him go online and type windows update and he says there was nothing pertaining to him. :D Yes he is computer illiterate .

control panel ----type updates---select first one on top----check for updates install ..repeat until you get message no further updates ...hopefully u will get windows 10.

Enterprise edition, either he got it if he attended a University, or got a copy from someone. Nothing he can do, without buying a Home or Pro version of the OS.
