Solved merging drives - adding folders to this pc.

as you can see in the below image i have several drives. i'd like to merge the 1st, 2nd, and 5th drives into one large volume. i also would like to hide the new drive from this pc mount the parent folder names in this pc. so basically i'm looking to have this when i open this pc. i know i can mount the folders as drives using any number of apps out there, but i don't know if it's possible to hide the new merged drive from this pc. any help and suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

can spanned volumes be done in safemode? i ask because when i've attempted it i get told running process won't allow me to to it.

Did u try right click n select merge ? I am assuming u did ...do they show up when u attempt merge ?

yes just something using one or more of the drives, hence why i asked about doing it in safemode.

you have to convert those disk to dynamic disk to create spanned volumes. if you use disk management, you'll lose all the data. I suggest you use a third party software.

think since i'm going to do a clean install of 10 i'll just use the mobo's raid utility to do it before installing 10. no locked volumes that way. honestly prob should of done that in the first place. as for loosing the data on those drives no big deal, cause universal is a copy of all the data on the others. i sync daily. thanks for the help guys.
