I bought this computer at the end of May. It's an Acer Aspire TC-605.
Sporadically (sometimes it's OK for 2 weeks, sometimes it's bad twice a day) it hangs.

What happens most of the time is, I come to my computer and it looks like the screen is off, but when moving the mouse or touching keyboard, it never comes back. I have to shut it down by holding the power button.

In that state, if I use Teamviewer to get into the computer, Teamviewer works for maybe 15 seconds until the image also freezes and then the computer becomes unresponsive. Generally, I can see the desktop, move the mouse around, but nothing happens if I click Start button (Classic Shell) or click on programs in the taskbar. And then it freezes totally.

Maybe related:
I've had the cursor and keyboard just stop working and being unresponsive, until the screensaver comes on and later the screen goes off.

Maybe related, maybe not: I've sometimes (not every time) had a BSOD when I connect/disconnect my (very old) Logitech Orbit Quickcam.
(IRQL fault related to LVUVC64.SYS)

Maybe related:
I've done a Windows Driver Verifier, and the system BSOD at boot (IRQL error, USBXHCI.SYS).

What I have done:
- Installed all Windows Updates, also used "Show available updates".
- Updated all drivers from Acer site:
Download Drivers and Manuals | Acer Official Site
- Flashed latest BIOS from Acer.
- Used the Slimdriver tool to update all remaining drivers.
- Installed latest AMD driver for the AMD video card.

However, the Intel chipset driver never updates the date or version, no matter if I use the one from the Acer site or (newer) from Slimdriver

- In Power Options:
* Sleep: sleep after: never; hibernate: never
* USB selective suspend setting: disabled
* PCI Express: Link state power management: off

I don't know what to do anymore.

As there can be many reasons for this to happen, software, drivers, corrupt system files or drivers, incompatibility with drivers or software.
Try run SFC command at Admin command prompt, look through this link last cause then be hardware issues.
Oh, would not use third party driver update software, not good idea, just use Acer's site, good enough plus windows update.
Unless added devices, then go to there website for updates. This definitely cause you more issues with apps like slimdrivers.

Run-

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

in admin cmd prompt before running sfc cmd.

Maybe restart after running dism cmd because it will probably download needed components from Windows Update.
