    system repair disk-installation disk-recovery disk

    hello i have win 8.1 and i'm confused about the differents about these disk i mentioned.
    1)can you tell me what are the differents?
    if are three different disk:
    2)how can create each of them?
    3)where is usefull each of them?
    4) can i create these disks to usb?
    also i have not any installation disk of win 8.1 (my preinstalled os was win 7).i have created a windows image backup.the backup is anything from that?
    5) for automatic repair which disk i will create?

    hello i'm confused about how can fix corrupted system files and make an automatic repair in win 8.1 withinstallation media or recovery disk?or is the same?also the system repair disk is something different to other two?

    Windows 3.1 > Windows 10

    since windows 95 - the recovery disk has been the setup media..

    Unless you made custom media

    A Recovery Disc is usually supplied by the manufacturer and provides a way for you to put your computer back to the state it was in when you first bought it. Same is true for a recovery partition.

    Installation media comes from Microsoft and does not have any of the add-ons manufacturers often include, most of which are useless. Installation media allows you to repair a computer or install a new instance of the operating system.
