Password reset question using Net command

Hello,
If I use net user George newpassword
In safe mode command prompt to reset my user account password to newpassword because of I forgot it.
Will it effect my documents folder? Cause I really need my data of off there and I am worried that it will reset my whole account?

You can't reset a password that way, sorry. You need to be logged in as an Administrator or the user who's password you want to change.

Or enable the hidden Administrator account and reset the password from there. See this Tutorial by Dinesh: User Account Password - Change from WinRE System Repair Disc.

I've done this many times, always works.
