Why is Google Search no longer visible in IE Gallery?
Ok so most of us know that the April IE Cumulative Security Windows update KB3038314 was the culprit preventing users from adding Google as a search provider.
When the May update was released, the ability to add Google Search returned. I checked this and it worked but I did not complete the task at the time.
Today I note that Google Search is no longer available as a search provider in IE Gallery - Vanished?
I can add the Search provider from Google directly but note the pop-up box in IE no longer allows you to select 'turn on search suggestions' it is greyed out. If you add Google and then look in manage add ons - Search Suggestions are marked as unavailable.
Is this by default and if so what is going on between Microsoft and Google. Or am I simply doing something wrong here.?
Look forward to your comments, answers and suggestions.
Thank you
