Aministrator permission prompt to copy certain files

I keep keeping prompts that say "you'll need to provide administrator permission to copy to this folder".
I then have the option to click a button to allow the operation.
I'd like to turn off these prompts, if it won't jeopardize security.
Trying to figure this out on my own, I right clicked the C drive in Explorer, clicked on the security tab
and noticed that Administrators have full control and my account is an administrator account.
Not sure what else I can do to resolve this issue
