So I built my own pc and its ben running great for months.
Recently i have been leaving it on overnight for download etc (i dont know if this is a factor in the issue, but thought to involve the info)
Startup PC, gets to main desktop however bottom right mini icons shows ONLY "safely remove hardware" icon. All my others (about 6 programs) are NOT there.
If i double click on my computer all the drives C to J have no icons and are just white boxes.
If i alt cnt del it doesnt come up...
FINALLY after about 45sec to 1 min all the pgrams start opening, everything works, al icons appear etc etc... and the pc works 100%.
From my *limited* understanding it seems like there is some startup pogram that is not opening or opening slowly... and then after a long time it either works or gives up and then everything just runs accordingly..
its not an end of world issue, but my pc is high spec and boots in about 20-30 secs but them im sitting on desktop for about a minute before i can use it...!!
