Hi

This is my first post to any forum, a good friend of mine recommended you and thought you may be able to help.
My Laptop was setup with 2 partitions, Local Disk C: and a DATA F:, it has been working fine like this for the past 12 months or so and everything was ok about 3 days ago.
However....... yesterday when i tried to copy some pics from my phone to data drive I found the partition had gone!! I'm now left with 167GB of free space that used to be my data drive e.g. pictures, software, music.....

I've had a quick look but don't want to go too far and risk causing more damage without some guidance

Things I've tried

Ran HP built in Hard Drive Test (Passed)

Tried to recover the partition using EaseUS, Partition Master Free but the only partitions it found using the complete scan were about 3mb in size, I can supply a picture if it will help.

Any help or advice will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Ryan

I used to recommend GetDataBack but recently, I had a file system corruption and the best utility that recovered the most data was Active@File Recovery. It's free to download and try out, and it's only $30 USD to activate online.

Active@File Recovery

Thanks Mark, I used the SuperScan feature of Active@File Recovery and can see the missing partition. I'm now, browsing the folders and comparing to my backup's and will decide whether or not I need to purchase the software to complete the recovery.

Nice Software :) Thanks for your help
