Hi, this is my first time in here so please bear with me if I posted in wrong place, ty.

I have just reset my pc using win8 disc ( Fujitsu AH512 Laptop) and I did scannow under administrator , some files were missing but repaired itself, I went to view the event viewer in comp management and I have errors and warnings in there, is this normal after a reset and is it something I need to worry about now , also laptop seems to be running good, antivirus is ok, scans are ok the only thing that seems to be an issue is I downloaded comodo dragon but it wont open, it asks what do I want to open with then just re-downloads it ?, thank you in advance for any help or constructive comments .

A lot of those "errors" one sees in event viewer are really just timeouts and such that are corrected or redone milliseconds later. The event viewer is there actually when trouble shooting a specific problem and actually meaningless for day to day checking.

If you want to see a well filtered view for programs and windows just go to Action Center and open Maintenance, then click "view reliability history", and it shows you program updates, crashes and response failures. If an error happens once or once in a Blue Moon, it's nothing to worry about. It's when they show up all the time that something needs to be done.

If something is giving constant errors/warnings then right click it>view details-and you get information on it, specially the Process ID, that is then used in Event Viewer to filter it an see when & how often this happens to help troubleshoot or post when you need help.

Too many people here look at Event Viewer(there is a reason it's hidden:)) and panic:shock: seeing all the errors(many of which happen because of specific user settings when windows wanted to something and can't or was interrupted). So don't worry unless you have a real problem.

I hope this helps.--Cliff
