You mentioned nVidia but are you actually asking about the Win8.1 installation? All of the Windows installations I've done from the CD [WinXP and earlier] or DVD [Win7 and later] had a screen early in the install that prompted to choose a language. Apparently Windows includes many languages as it's unknown which country it will be used in and the correct one has to be chosen. I think part of the Win7 DVD requirement was for the Anytime Upgrade feature.

It's nothing about nVidia. Some Windows isos from MSDN are only in one language, for example "English", and I wanna know if the language of that is US English or UK English. Becouse it's not written anywhere.

It's my experience if a particular version of English is not specifically mentioned that the install will work in any version of English, leastways the .iso files I've downloaded in the Partners program worked that way.

If it doesn't specify US or UK then it's US.

There are typically folders that contain the language files, as follows:
"en_us" - English US
"en_uk" - English UK

Look in the ISO to see which of these folders is present.

Windows 8.1 supports both English (US) and English (UK), unlike Windows 7, which pissed alot of us Europeans off, because we don't like spelling realise "realize", personalise "personalize" etc etc you get the drift.

There are 2 different outcomes to your scenario

Outcome A - the ISO is based off of English (UK)
-you are good to go

Outcome B - the ISO is based off of English (US)
-in order to get English (UK), go to Charms->settings-->region and language)-->language--->Install languages--->English(UK), it will download and install, then go into the English(UK)submenu, click "make as default" , it will tell you you have to sign out, just restart your PC, then go back to charms-->settings--->region and language, then delete the EN-US language pack. You are good to go.
