Can OneDrive be removed from Notification Icons center?

I consider myself a minimalist, preferring the Start/Tiles screen over having icons on my desktop, which allows me to be able to see full detail of my wallpapers without interference. I also don't like having a lot of unnecessary icons in my Notification Center area, such as OneDrive, which is always running in the background.

Is it possible to remove the icon without stopping the service?

So I guess there is no way to keep the service running, but remove the icon from the notification center?

You could use OPTION THREE to hide the OneDrive icon.
