ShutDown Problem

Hello Friends ,

I am having problem in shutting down my laptop . Whenever i shutdown my laptop .. it shows that it shut down .....close my laptop .... and open it after few hours .... it still processing to shut down the laptop .

What is the problem ... i update my window time to time .. so what the problem ..

friends help me please

It's possible that some monitoring and/or security programs are a little too assertively set and are not releasing themselves for shutdown.
What are you running for monitoring and security software. And, are you closing programs such as emailers, browsers, office suites, etc. before you issue the Start Shutdown sequence?
