Removing Passwords and Sleep

I had to do a Restore due to some issues, my Sleep mode states 30 minutes for battery and none for plug in.. It is plugged in but went into sleepmode (maybe at 30 minutes but maybe sooner.)... I don't know how to tell it to follow the rules it is set to..

Also I have gotten the password off when the computer does a restart.. I also want to remove if it goes into sleepmode (especially if I can't get it to follow the way it is set up).. I found under power pption in the control panel a choice of password on wakeup with it set to "yes" for battery and "yes" for plugin.. Problem is although I can hit the dropdown to see the "no" it will not allow me to select the "no" there must be a way to kick it into excepting a change, or why give us a choice option that will not allow us to change the choice? Thanks, that was easy, but for me it eluded me.. I am hoping the sleepmode settled down also.. Last night I went to bed after queing up some videos to record.. I feared coming down to find it had gone to sleep and never completed the recording.. But, no, although the screen went black (which is what the turn off display does), not only did all the video record, but it didn't even fall asleep after the video completed.

I am hoping I am slowly getting back to normal.
