I don't see the problem. Can you explain what is wrong with the font?
Maybe post a screen capture of the same stuff from Firefox so I can see the difference?
If it's a Chrome only problem, try completely uninstalling Chrome, including user data, then download and reinstall it.

Can you go to RedCafe.net and look at the font and compare it to the first picture in the OP? My font settings on my computer have suddenly messed up and don't look the same as before...What exactly is the problem with the font? Is it too small? I cannot understand what you mean that there's something wrong with the font. I can read the text, there is no choppiness in the text.
1) Right click Desktop -> Screen Resolution -> Change Resolution to a smaller number x number.
2) While the Desktop/Folder is active, hold down Ctrl & scroll up/down to increase/decrease the size of text and icons.
It's bold on my end because I'm signed in, but the way your is displayed is how mine should display. I don't know why my font has changed. And I've tried a lot of things to revert back to the old style.1) The font on my computer is bigger.. and
2) The Red Text in yours is Bold, yet the fifth one down (the pics one) is not bold.
What else do you see?
