It's that time of year again- my Asus laptop will not boot up.
I installed a bunch of updates, about 50. restarted my computer, everything seemed normal, it shows the Windows logo and asks for my Bitlocker password as usual. I'm now getting a black screen with an intermittently flashing cursor. If I move the cursor, it will show for a few seconds and disappear again. Other than that it's a blank black barely-lit screen. Tried using a Windows 8 disc and booting from it and navigating to startup repair, and it asks for the recovery key (my main C drive is bitlocked), I do not have that key that I know of. I only have the regular password to the drive. Ideas?
