hello!
i am trying to disable numlock on my login screen, so i went to regedit and the initialkeyboardindicators key was at two, and doing a google search told me i need to change it to 0, i tried changing it to 0 and then restarted my pc and numlock was still on, so i went back to regedit to find that it was changed back to 2.
PLEASE COULD ANYONE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which location are you trying to change the key in? Make sure you're changing the one in HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT if you want it to affect the login screen.

i managed to solve it! I dont know why/how this works but i decided just to see what happens to change the .DEFAULT one to 2 instead of 0 and even though that should have enabled numlock it disabled it! the other initialkeyboardindicators is still stuck at 2 but now that they are both @ 2 it works!?!
