    Random blocks keep appearing on my desktop, Need help

    If you look at the image that I've attached, you'll see that there's an arrow pointing towards a block/box that randomly appears on my desktop. This happens every time I use my laptop, and it's gotten really annoying now. I've also hidden my desktop icons so that it can be seen better. If anyone knows how to fix this problem, please let me know, and thanks.

    (Also, I don't know where to put this thread, so I just put it in this section.)

Desktop.ini icon suddenly appearing
All of a sudden I have this desktop.ini icon on my desktop when it had not been there before. When I delete it, as soon as it is deleted it reappears on my desktop. Seems unusual to me. Any thoughts?

So I noticed a random file on my desktop called Thumbs. Screenshot: Screenshot by Lightshot I'm pretty sure it is safe, but where does it really belong at? Idk how it got moved or anything

So simply put, I cannot use skype for desktop. The app version that is preinstalled, I can't use because it drives me insane so uninstalled it, however, it IS STILL blocking skype for desktop from working. I've attached a screeenshot to show you what I mean. Is there a way to get rid of the app...
