Hi,
I have only been using Win 8.1 for about a month and I notice that every day or so I get the following 1008 Event viewer error:
The Open Procedure for service ".NETFramework" in DLL "C:\windows\system32\mscoree.dll" failed. Performance data for this service will not be available. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the error code.
Would it hurt anything to try to re-register this .dll to see if that would stop the error? If it would be worth a try are the following two commands correct: toun-register ... regsvr32 /u mscoree.dll and then to register :
regsvr32 mscoree.dll
Thanks and regards,
