My computer got bogged down updating Windows 8. It caused the svchost to work over time and thus overloaded our bandwidth for three days!! If I go to system restore will it want to update Windows again? ( I have changed the settings to only update on command)
Don't want to over load the system again. Live in a remote area and have Sat Dish, it's the only form of Internet.

If you go into system restore and create a new restore point after the updates, you can use that restore point and not have to re-download the updates again..

If you got Hughesnet downloads between 2 am and 7am do not count towards your usage..

Thanks for the quick come back. Have done a system restore and although it's not quite where I want it, it's better.
