where is file explorer

Install classic shell and it will be where it always was. otherwise right click the start button I think you can get to it from there. not sure have had ClassicShell install after 10 minutes of Metro.

Hi there. There should be a folder icon on the Taskbar for File Explorer upon install. Windows key plus C will get you there too.

Hmmm...never had hard time finding file explorer in windows 8.1, unless i missing something here. Think i have gotten over missing start menu in win8.1, fine without it, to each his own i guess.Nice pictures David, as always !

Classic Shell - Start menu and other Windows enhancements I have no intention of going back to Window start menu, classic shell is very configurable lots setting that you'll never have with a window start button!
