Solved Getting hold of a Windows 8.1 ISO
Hello
On my PC right now I am running Windows 8.1, all genuine.
But PC is gone very slow and I would like to format my PC. The problem is I do not have a Windows 8.1 ISO! I got to Windows 8 then 8.1 via Windows 7 upgrades.
How do I get hold of a Windows 8.1 iso so that I can format my PC? I do not fancy installing Windows 7, then upgrading to 8 and 8.1 all over again
Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hello Ciwan,
You can use OPTION ONE in the tutorial below to get the most update Windows 8.1 ISO file that you can activate with a retail or OEM Windows 8/8.1 key.
http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/18309-windows-8-windows-8-1-iso-download-create.html
With an OEM key, will the disk installation automatically take the key from the BIOS during installation or do you have to input it yourself?
If you use an ISO from OPTION ONE that's the same edition as what the key is for, then yes the Windows installation will automatically detect and use the key embedded in your UEFI firmware.
