Unable to reset PC. Too many Windows 8 issues.

Hey everyone! So last night something happened to my wireless NIC. No idea what, but connecting to anything is now agonizingly slow. I've also been having startup/crashing issues, and BSOD. I tried to Reset my PC just now, and I got an error message: "Unable to reset your PC. A required partition is missing. The laptop (an Asus X750JB) came preinstalled with Windows 8, and I upgraded to 8.1 back in August. I've fully updated Windows 8.1 and drivers, ran Eusing Registry Cleaner, AVG, and Malware Bytes. No malicious files were found. I've also reinstalled programs that tend to give me BSOD to no effect. Seems like the best thing I can do is reset my laptop to factory settings, but Windows 8.1 won't let me. Any ideas? Thanks!

Thanks! Will this create a fresh ISO, or will it save my files/programs? I want to try and get as clean an install as possible.

Okay, so I've got the .iso file now. I tried installing it in a VM to make sure it would work, and it asked for a product key. I entered my product key (found by right-clicking This PC >> Properties), and it didn't work. So looks like I'm stuck again, unless I missed something.

If you have an ASUS computer, then you should use the Asus Backtracker utility.

"If the system is damaged and you can’t run the Windows default recovery function. You can use Backtracker to install the recovery image."

you need a new product key for every vm -

if you want a clean install of windows 8.1 just boot from setup media..

if you want to recover the factory setup - use asus backtracker

Are you sure that isn't your product ID - different from a product key.
