How To Fix Desktop.ini In Folder?

Today I was trying to customize my user folder using desktop.ini method. I replaced the desktop.ini in my USER folder then restarted the laptop again. I noticed there was no change and decided to delete the file. Upon restarting my PC I right-clicked when inside the folder and clicked "Customize this folder..." , then an error appeared stating "The properties for this item is not available." Untitled.jpg
I have tried to google my problem but most of them are ways to hide desktop.ini. Are there any ways for me to fix the error?

Have a look in your recycle bin for the original file. If it's there, restore it.

nope, there's nothing in the recycle bin because I usually shift-deleted most files. I have tried sfc /scannow and system restore. Then I tried creating a new user and backing up the desktop.ini file from there but the account also had the same problem. So far, the problem still exist.

I don't have any other suggestions at this time. Normally when you delete a desktop.ini file Windows just creates a new one. I haven't messed with any in a key folder like you have though.
