Windows 8.1 Explorer.exe corrupted

I was using a program to change my Windows 8 Orb. I didn't back up my original, and now every time I boot up my computer or try to run "explorer.exe" I get the following message:

This app can't run on your PC

I've tried running sfc /scannow to no avail. Would I be able to download a fresh, clean version of Windows 8.1 Pro's explorer.exe and use it? If so, where could I possibly get one?

Hi Ananaias And welcome to Eight Forums,
It looks like you have a damaged explorer.exe, if no one will recommend a solution to this i think you should try a refresh, if you dont know how refer to this article: How to refresh, reset, or restore your PC - Windows Help .
Oh, and by the way i don't think an explorer.exe of another version of windows will work for you as you wouldn't even find one.
Hope i helped.

In order to do this, I have to have explorer.exe running. I can't get it running at all.

I'm actually in the middle of making a USB Drive using the Media Creation Tool. Once it's done, do I just reboot and boot from that USB Drive to do a fresh install?

It doesn't. :C Also, if I WERE able to find an explorer.exe, say from a spare computer or laptop, and I uploaded it, would it work?
