Hi, I've installed Windows 8.1 PRO in my desktop PC and I want it to look as simple as I can, so the user gets a nice and simple experience.

If I go to THIS PC, this is what I see:

I want to hide (not remove) that recovery partition in D:, and I don't know how.
I want that when you go to THIS PC, only Windows 8.1 drive and DVD are shown.

Thanks in advance! :geek:

there are several ways - use Disk management and remove the drive letter..

Or you can use diskpart to set the partition ID

right click start flag - disk management - right click "D" drive - remove drive letter
