Solved How to Find pictures in a date range

I have literally tens of thousand of pictures on my PC.
When the PC goes into the state where one has to login again, it randomly displays photos from under "pictures".

I briefly saw a photo of my house with all the spring blossoms in my yard.
How can I search for all pictures in a date range.
For example, I would like to find all pictures on my c: drive from March 15, 2001 to June 1, 2001.
then all pictures from March 15, 2002 to June 1, 2002
then all pictures from March 15, 2003 to June 1, 2003
etc.

Assuming your pictures are saved as jpegs, you could use this search argument in the search field in File Explorer "*.jpg datemodified:03/15/2001 .. 06/01/2001" (no quotes)

If your pics have a different extension, such as .tiff, use that. Modify the date range for whatever range you wish.

Another solution would be to download/install Photo Organizer software. I like Photoshop Elements (which you have to pay for) but I know others who like Google's Picasa for this purpose. Something to think about.
