help

I have a issue with my vizio all in one desktop. I installed avg pc tune up last night it did a scan and had to restart when it restarted it went directly to the scan and repair drive c loop and it is stuck at ten percent. has been and can not bypass it i cant get into safe mode bios or whatever. i cant do a factory reset nothing it just goes to scan everytime. i can hit f8 and get to that screen but thats all and it dont help any. please help tech support says i have to pay a tech to fix it but microsoft says its fixable but again they want me to pay I can not pay

Also I have no windows disk to use for a hard install so im pretty much at a loss on what to do.

Sorry to read of you dilemma. Does hitting Ctrl/Alt/Delete keys all at the same time bring up a power screen with Task Manager on it? If so, press that. If it brings up a Task Manager screen that doesn't have the AVG scan, press "More details" on the lower left. Press the AVG scan at the top and press "End task".

Then I would go into Control Panel > Programs and Features to uninstall the AVG PC Tune.

Hopefully you can accomplish this. Please report back.

I cant get to any of that as I said it starts up and goes right to scan and repair screen i hit f7 and it gets to the screen that has where u see advance general boot and a few other things but nothing in that section fixes anything it goes right back to scan and repair. i have since made a usb copy of windows and awaiting to see if it works. if not well I am at a loss.

If F7 gets you to Advanced Boot Options did you try a System Restore to bring it back to a time before you installed AVG? That will eliminate that program.
