Hi all:
I have a client that purchased 9th Edition Inch Fastener Standards-2014c-Digital (PDF) that uses a KEYLOK usb thumb drive in order to open the PDF.
Now for the problem... when I open it abode reader opens then it says initializing and gets stuck at about 5%. This happens on two of my clients machines, one a laptop and the other a desktop both with windows 8.1.
I tried it on my laptop with windows 7 and works perfectly. I also tried it with my desktop with windows 8.1 and it opens perfectly. I don't even see the initializing screen just opens the PDF like it should...
So I booted my clients computer into safe mode and was able to open the PDF... But I can not do it in normal mode. I tried turning of the windows firewall, turning off the UAC, running as administrator and nothing seems to work. I thought it had to do with Webroot SecureAnywhere but I uninstalled that software and still nothing...
I talked to the KEYLOK support and they don't seem to have a answer for me...
Anyways let me know what you all think. Thanks in advance for your time
