Applications reduce in taskbar

Hi.

I've a problem with a laptop ASUS.
For some time, but some applications open automatically reduce in the taskbar.
I uninstalled the latest patches microsoft but nothing changes.
Impossible either to reinstall because the system can not find the picture on my disk (continued migration from 8 to 8.1 I guess) and I do not have either saved on DVD image ...
Someone has an idea or solution?

Which applications do this ? What do you mean by " find the picture " ? Talking about application installation files ? What disc, windows 8 ?
Desktop applications that are giving you this issue, check the startup settings of either application or go to Task Manager then go to the startup tab, see find it there also.
