Hi guys!

I hope this is in the right forum, wasn't sure whether it belonged to Customization' but here we are :)

What I want to do: Force Windows to open only one window per folder or location opened.

This is because I move large numbers of files across dozens of open folders and often accidentally open the same folder two or three times when looking for files to copy which is very frustrating.

I know what I ask is unusual but is there any way to do this or perhaps a program that might help me achieve it?

I'm using Windows 8.1 and have a dual monitor configuration running.
Windows are set to Collapse When Full.
Open Each Folder in the Same Window is selected.
(What I want is basically Open Each Folder in Only One Window)

Many thanks in advance for your help!

Not really sure how to do that but just because of things like that I use Total Commander and there are similar free programs like "Free Commander" etc. which make file shuffling much easier than this windows way.
