Solved Win 10 Preview

i am running 10 and i know this is 8 forums however i would like your comments on this. only does it at shutdown/ restart and not often. does not happen with 8.1. thanks guys

hello ,win10 forum is up and running ,use to be win9 until last week .

You are talking about an Alpha, that they are calling a Beta. Instead of in house testing, to find out what works and what doesn't. Microsoft is resorting to using the end user to do their work for free.

i think that is a good thing using external testers. ms will find out what we want hopefully

Does it hang there or eventually shut down?

... AND, could there be any third party apps involved?

sfc /scannow

&

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

with it ?

I had the same issue but haven't seen it since installing kb3001512 so you may want to try to run windows update.

does it happen when you're using the Start Menu UI or the Start Screen UI?

was only start screen but appears ok after update
