Having Problems with Windows 8.1 x64

Hi, I am currently having the following problems within Windows 8.1

1. No Audio - Have looked in 'Services' and tried to restart Audio Service to which it is not found, then Windows Audio which is Stopped, tried to start it and get this: Error 0x800706cc: The endpoint is a duplicate. And finally Windows Audio Endpoint Builder which is already running.
2. Windows Update Service doesn't load up, tried WindowsUpdateDiagnostic but it crashes whilst running. Tried restarting the service which gave an error: Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
3. AVG Internet Security 2014 isn't running, won't let me start it or open the program.
4. Control Panel doesn't open, crashes once I click on it.

• I have also tried to Uninstall the Audio Driver in the Device Manager and reinstall the most up-to-date version which is Realtek High Definition Audio 6.0.1.7010 with still no luck.
• Tried updating the BIOS on the PC to see if that would help which didn't.
• Ran HP's Support Solutions software and got a Fault ID of : GGDVWJ-6T778N-MFPWXF-20AC03.
• Checked for Malware using AdwCleaner and Malwarebytes which found no problems.
• Tried to restore the PC to an earlier date, which this didn't fix any of the above problems.
• Ran CCleaner to check for registry errors.

Anyone have any solutions? PC is still guaranteed so I could send it back, but would prefer to be able to fix it to prevent loss of data.

Suggest running from the elevated command prompt (Admin)
sfc /scannow

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Then run the sfc command again and reboot.
