OneDrive and Default 'Documents' Folder Forever Linked???

Strange situation here. I moved my OneDrive sync folder to be my Default 'Documents' folder in Windows 8.1. However, I want to move it back, or to another folder. Now, when I use 'Properties', 'Location', 'Move' to move the OneDrive folder, it also moves the Default Documents folder. As if they are now forever linked. Can anyone offer a solution to separate these? Thanks in advance!

No, That just says to go into 'Properties', select 'Location', and 'Move' to select another folder. This changes the OneDrive location, but also moves the default 'Documents' folder at the same time. That's my problem ;) I need to somehow move one or the other to get them separated.

Did you read the whole thread? Doubtful, since it explains how to "Unlink" Onedrive.

Thanks Broe23, you are right, I see the unlink process way down in the comments section. I'll give it a shot. Thanks for pointing that out since it was not very obvious.

I went through the process, and it didn't work, so far. These instructions refer to a 'Unlink OneDrive' option that doesn't appear to exist anymore in the 'Settings' menu. However, it may be in the online account. Will keep trying. Thanks.
