Search for HD videos on computer

I have a bunch of of HD videos on my computer but they're all scattered all over different drives and folders. Is there a way where I can search by video quality? Such as only search for 1080p videos?

I beg to differ, there is a way to search for HD videos.

You only need to input "frameheight:x" in the search field (without the quotation marks), where x is the resolution you are looking for. 1080 would be fullHD.

Generally spoken, every attribute can be searched for, that you can make a column for in details view, frame height being just one of many.

That is only if the software that was used to create the videos, added that information. Otherwise, you need the proper software that was used for the videos.

Easiest way, is just do a search for the file type. Or when setting up programs. Set up so that all videos are in the My Videos Library.

While what you are saying is true, every video editing and/or converting software I have knowledge of automatically fills out such information, out of 184 video files i quickly searched for on my computer, only six didn't have frame height.

If there are concerns that fullHD videos might not have their informations filled out (which is highly unlikely), best would be indeed to search for extensions, change the search window's view to details, right click any column to add frame height to have a quick overview over those that have this information, and the resolution of the rest (should there be any videos left with blank frame height fields) can be determined individually by several means, like opening them and display their information by the media player itself.
