Am I missing something? In Win7 the view can be customized for General, Documents, Music, Videos, etc. And that view applied to all folders of that particular type.

In Win8, after choosing view type, columns, etc, it gives the option to make all folders of that type the same, but there is no choice as to what type of folder it is, such as Documents, Music, etc. So how can you choose that category of personalized view in new folders?

Oooops! Duhhhh! Thanks guys. In Win7 I did it by clicking View in Menu bar, then Customize. Didn't realize it could be done through Properties. Cheers :)
