Bold Font Problem

I was adjusting my monitor settings with Calibrate Display in Windows 8.1 and accidentally clicked 'yes' for Windows ClearType at the end of the adjusting. That's when this problems started. Now my browser is showing bold text in a what looks like the Impact font, I think? It looks stretched out. Here's a screenshot of the problem. As you can see this causes the text to be slightly out of line. I've tried disabling ClearType and resetting Windows fonts, but nothing has worked so far. If anyone could help that'd be awesome. Thanks!

I tried that, worked for all of 10 minutes before reverting to the weird bold font. Was able to get a decent comparison shot of before and after though.

Alright, apparently this is not happening in IE or Firefox, just Chrome. Quite possibly a Chrome issue then... Still, if anyone had an answer that'd be swell.

One says Gmail, the other says Mail. Why is that? Could that be contributing to the problem?

The Bold on Deleted Items is high-lighting the fact there are messages in that Folder and probably haven't been read yet, at least that's how it works on mine in Firefox.

That doesn't explain the bold on Inbox or Compose, or the fact that Deleted Items is more bold than normal. Doesn't explain the difference in bolding in my original screenshot either.
