Windows 8.1 boot screen with manufacturer logo

Hi there,

I bought this notebook with Windows 8 preinstalled. Recently there's something bad happen to my notebook and I had to wipe all the partition and hard disk. So I downloaded Windows 8.1 ISO and make it bootable with Yumi Installer. But I cannot get default manufacturer logo on boot anymore. It's default to Windows logo. Can someone guide me how to install it to get manufacturer logo back.

The manufacturer's logo was embedded it the OEM version of Windows that was first installed on your notebook. You had to erase that OEM version of Windows with the Mfg Logo. The Windows version you have now is probably a Microsoft retail version which doesn't have the mfg's logo, only the Microsoft logo.

The OEM version of Windows (Original Equipment Manufacturer) is a customized version of Windows, tailored to install on a PC production line. The manufacturer will sometimes add their logos to it.

The Microsoft retail version of Windows of course only has the Microsoft logo.

To get the logo back, you probably have to get an OEM Windows disc from the original manufacturer and install that. It will probably have the logo. So you have to re-install Windows with the OEM version to get the logo back.

You probably could find Windows wallpaper for your desktop, with the original manufacturer's logo, by using a Google search, if that would help.
