How do I make a folder open in it's previous location.

My Dell XPS 8700 runs 4 displays. How do I set up my Folder Options so that one particular folder will open up in a particular display everytime when I open it. Every time I open a new folder, it opens up in the display/area where the last folder is/was opened. I had no problem about this in Windows XP

Except for some applications that insist on opening in main display everything works same as it was in XP and W7, at least for me.

Experiment with the explorer /select switch. I used to have it in W7 to look at but I only have W8 now. I didn't find any examples that were helpful.
