Key issues...

So up untill now ive never had any issue with the OEM cds picking up the key from the motherboards unless the board was swapped under warranty. Ive had 4 machines in the last week that one was 2 weeks old with a virus and the cd wouldnt pickup the key. Even when booting to the cd it would just have the generic windows logo vs the manf logo.

Any ideas for me here? I tried magic jellybean on one of them that I could still get into and around the viruses but the last 3 digits of the cdkey coming up were "OEM" and that apparently doesnt work.

So it appears one of them (dell from jan 2014) didnt have secure boot turned on. Maybe that prevented me from reading the key, Oddly tho it wouldnt pickup the key from the installer even after. Had to use the generic key from MS than use a key reader and typed the key in and it activated. But after turning secure boot back on the key reader could read the right key and it activated properly.

Any idea why the boot logo has disappeared tho?
