As per title:
when i make a search for directories, then i double click on the wanted directory; now i would like to navigate as normal, instead explorer keeps in the path box "search-display.." not allowing me to navigate or to expand directory tree, how can i instruct it to exit search mode and continue from that path?

Thanks

In the search results, right click the folder instead of double clicking on it, and choose "Open Folder Location", that brings you to the folder in the normal tree.

I don't know of any way to make the default action do that, unfortunately.

Thanks a lot it works;
but if i double click in the found folder, it opens the dir tree inside it and from there right-clicking in the folders there is not the "open folder location", is there any way to return to normal navigation?

I'm sorry, I don't understand.... I told you how to do what you want... You won't get into that tree if you do what I suggest in the first place. Don't double click on the item, right click and choose the folder location right away.

If you do double click, just click the back button and go back to the search results. and right click.

Ok thanks again, your suggestion is exact!
Just wanted to understand how to exit (if there is any way) from a search mode in win explorer to normal navigation.
In the picture i serached for a folder in my z: drive, i found it but i want something inside it, i start to navigate, but at this point i cannot exit the search mode.

Of course your solution work, go back and open foldrer location,
but is odd we can do that later.

thanks
