This advice was given in a previous thread:
Create a shortcut on your desktop that points to the SD card. Give it an obvious name (like "SD" in my case) and then move it to the root of C: (as in C:\SD) or somewhere else convenient. Then, add that location (the shortcut) to the library. Voila! It works. On the Samsung tablet, this is in fact the only location I use for the Videos library.removable devicto the e. Give it an obvious name (like "SD" in my case) and then

How do I 'move' a shortcut to the root of C:? In fact can anybody explain this in move simpler terms? Brink?
Thank you.

Simple:

Right click the shortcut, select Cut or Copy:

Paste it to root of C: or anywhere you'd like to:

Shortcut is now shown in its new location:

Anyway, this whole procedure is unnecessary. Far more simpler is just to include the SD card or any other drive directly to a library by right clicking it and selecting Include in library:

Thanks for that sound advice Kari. I used the latter suggestion and put the SD Storage Device (D:) under "Libraries." My "Photos" app now shows all my pictures. Now I've got to figure out how to put some 'apps' in there. To clarify, I right clicked on the SD Storage Device (D:) Selected > "Include in Library" and then selected "Pictures". When I opened my PC the following day the SD Storage Device (D:) had disappeared from the " Library", but when I selected the "Photos" app the pictures were still there.

How to install apps in Micro SD card?

As the title says, how do I put apps onto my 64 Gb "Secure Digital Storage Device (D:)", (Micro SD memory card).
I have it listed under "Libraries" in "File Explorer" at the moment. I have installed all my pictures in there,
along with "File History". Now I need to put some large apps in there too, if possible.
Thank you.

    Touchscreen,
Apps is not best use of a SD card. You are better off using it for data storage like pictures, documents, videos etc that don't change much as access speed is generally not so good.

I use a SD for the Windows recovery drive as at 512MB it isn't much use for anything else and speed isn't an issue.

Anyway what apps do you mean? Store apps or normal programs? Any in particular?

Thanks adamf. There's going to be a lot of wasted space on the memory card and I only have 10 gigs left on my HDD. I meant store apps especially ones with high Mb's.
