Hi all,

First of all, I thank the people who give answers here. I had a lot of ease from it. Keep up the good work:party:

My problem:
When I try to open a PDF file, I always/still gets the question
"How do you want to open this type of file (pdf) ?"
I tried the usual ways:
+ to set association with "Set Associations" in default programs
+ registry entry is ok (as far as I can tell)

Please help me with this. I am getting annoyed to tell everytime to choose the same program:D

Regards,

Kees

There is a Metro Apps Reader and I had the same problem when I install Acrobat X11. So I just uninstalled the Metro App version and set the default for Acrobat.

Tnx Topgundcp,

That did the trick.
After uninstalling the "Metro-reader", the default was already set to Adobe Reader (I did nothing to that), and it works now
Strange though, but thanks a very lot :D

Regards!

Kees

I think it's just a glitch with metro-reader. Glad you got it sorted :)
