I don't know what's going on

I don't have the option to turn on Live Tiles. Lets say that I right click on the calender app, there's no option to turn Live Tiles on/off. Help.

As far as I remember, the calender is tied to your Microsoft account. When you run the calender app, it should ask you to sign-in. The Weather application, which also doesn't show a live tile for me, is a known problem and is basically due to where you live.

Heh heh, must be a UAC thing then? Mine is set to lowest level.

That's the most likely reason I can say.

Probably. I don't think any of the Metro stuff works properly, or at all with UAC off.
