Thank you. Here is what is happening. Turn computer on it beeps one time then the the screen shows that asks if you want to log in to microsoft account. Enter password press enter then screen goes black only the cursor shows. The only thing I can do is hit control alt delete and I get the options to lock, switch users sign out or task manager. At bottom right of screen I have the power button to either sleep shut down or restart. Upon restart hitting del button to enter bios I can't find anything that shows there is a problem with booting or repairs need to be made pc health shows ok. I am using my tablet and I can't get anywhere with the computer to take screen shots. I am completely in over my head. Thanks for any help.

If you have Task Manager you could open System Restore if you have any restore points made.

edit--- if rstrui.exe doesn't help because of no restore points, try explorer.exe as a new task & see what it does.

You could pull up an Administrator command prompt & try--

sfc /scannow

& then--

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

& then sfc /scannow again.

To fix that beep just remove the battery and press the on button 8 times (without the battery) and then put it back and start the laptop if it still make the sound press F2 twice then reset the boot configuiration and let it reboot it will take some time that is how i fixed it on my od dell laptop.
