Win 8 not recognizing a program is installed

I have installed an Embroidery program on my Win 8.1 desktop, no issues, then I also needed to install an additional program for auto-digitizing called DrawWings Converter; Installed. Now if I open Forte and select the icon to open the Drawing program, I get an error message stating Program is not installed.
I am also contacting both Program companies for assistance.
Any assistance would be helpful... Thank you ...

Can you try to reinstall it?Maybee there is some registry errors for this programme.
