How can I learn about BSOD support?

BSOD...have always been something that I have gotten since I was a little kid and for the most part driver updates have always been the reason. Now that I am in the computer field though I think it's time I learn how to actually diagnose and resolve BSOD errors for others. Where can I start in learning about BSODs?

Majority of the time it is caused by hardware. With Windows 8.x.x, it is mostly device drivers that are causing them. You can use the utility"WhoCrashed" to diagnose the dump logs. You can download it from Download WhoCrashed Free Home Edition - MajorGeeks It gives you a user friendly explanation of what is going on, and the cause.

Thank you both for the responses! I have downloaded the program and will be checking that out later tonight when i get home and I am reading up on the survival guide as I type this. From what I have read thus far as well I am fairly confident that a lot of BSOD I have ran across have been nearly spot on always :)
